Work Experience:
Started my career with M/s Haria Exports Ltd as Merchandiser. Job profile included
Coordination with Overseas buyers and execution of Export orders of fashion apparels. Buyers
include R.H.Macys, Bloomingdale, CK and other leading brands.
Represented the company at the India Garment Trade fair in Osaka, Japan.
1992: Travelled to the USA and lived there about a year exploring the potential of immigration.
1993 - 1997 : Worked for a Merchant exporter based in Mumbai, India, ( M/s A.V.Enterprises)
developing overseas market and sourcing products from India. Specially developing consumer
products and general merchandise for the $ stores.
1998 – 2010: Worked for a Textile Export company sourcing and developing Textile from India
for overseas customers.
2010- 2016 Freelancing as QC and buyer for a Textile import company based in Turkey. Job
profile includes factory visit, QC, price negotiation, vendor development and execution order
from various factories in China. Have Visited China frequently and travelled extensively to
various parts for QC and sourcing.
Future Plans :
As I have many years of experience in Sourcing and International business, I would like to
work with a global company who is looking to explore the potential of competitive sourcing,
vendor / product development and QA.
